Four weeks, one step at a time. Type the examples, then remove what you never used.
* Week 1
The outline itself
Use headings, folding, lists, links, and four files with no extra packages. Type the examples. If Emacs is new, stay in Parts I and II.
* Week 4
One specialty, then subtract
Choose one specialty (Babel research, long-form export, publishing, or PKM) and build a small end-to-end result. Then run the capstone: build, operate, and review a complete Org system. At day 30, remove anything unused before adding extensions.
